This is probably my favorite Toy Photography photo from the project. This photo is called "Ambushed," and, if you couldn't tell (shame on you), it features characters from the Star Wars universe.
I absolutely love this photograph; both for the amzing contrast between the dark forest and the lit tree in the middle, and what it reminds me of. There was a sequence in Fantasia 2000 where there is this girl who brings new life to the forest from the winter - that's what this reminds me of.
I'll be honest: If any of these make it into the skills fest, I will be amazed. NatureStudent LifeOne out of a hundred: The lockers are presented the way they with the one locker in focus because there are so many students in a school, there are practically infinite lockers; this can also make students feel like they are insignificant, and make them think they won't be missed. I like the way the colors turned out so vividly. The Sounds of Studies: Have you ever noticed that one student that has their headphones in during class? Have you noticed the five others besides him? More and more I have seen classmates with an ear-bud in while class is in effect. Music seems to have gotten everywhere. Behind a screen: Technology has allowed us to do things we couldn't even think of doing before, it is no different in school. Computers have such a hold with school now, it is only a little while before each student has a laptop all to themselves for studies outside the classroom. Digital ImagingThis picture was taken by Marko Korsec - Weather Photographer - in Slovenia after an ice and snow storm left trees and guard towers covered in massive ice spikes. I really, REALLY like how this photo shows the beauty and destructiveness of nature when it truly lets loose. The vignette effect on the outside of the frame really draws the focus to the center, to the "ice beast."
